General Rules:
  • Racking Horse Classes will use RHBA rules
  • KMSHA Classes will use KMSHA Rules
  • If a class does not specify Amateur, it is Open
  • If a class does not specify Western or OT, English Tack is required.
  • No unattended cross tying in the barns.
  • Classes with over 22 entries will be split.
  • No transmitting communication devices are allowed.
  • All exhibitors of tennessee Walking Horse must provide horses registration number.
  • Entries must be inspected by DQP before each class.
  • Negative Coggins shall be required for all horses over the age of 6 months.
  • The use of safety helmets is encouraged.
  • No Chains/Action Devices of any kind or saran wrap permitted on the show grounds.
Due to the Morgan Horse Gold Cup Show arriving on Sunday Afternoon, we would ask that you please try to plan your departure by 9:00 Am on Sunday Morning.

All Horses will be inspected by a licensed DQP provided by HPC.
 
Horses may start arriving after 12:00 noon Thursday!
 
Office Fee: $10.00 per Horse
Stalls: $70.00 for Weekend
  $35.00 For 1 day
  (Stalls fee Includes 1 Bale of Shavings)
Horses Shown from the Trailer: $15.00 per Horse per Day
Camper Hookup: $25.00 per Day
Inspection Fee: $10.00 per Horse Per Day

(horses must show in at least 1 preliminary class to enter any championship class)
 
All classes with 5 or less entries Payback starts with 2nd place.

Youth 11 & Under Must use Protection Head Gear.

Attention: Ohio Classic Horse Show and/or Midwest Livestock & Expo Center assumes no liability for injury to horses, exhibitors, or spectators for loss of or damage to property. On this condition only are entries taken and spectators admitted. DQP's, VMO's and show management decisions on entries fitness to show will be final. All judge's decisions are final. Under the Equine Activity Liability Act, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in an equine activity, resulting from an inherent risk of the activity. Person on federal disqualification cannot transport horses to this show and can only participate as a spectator.
